Matt. 18:19 …If two of you are in harmony on earth concerning any matter for which they ask, it will be done for them from My Father who is in the heavens.

성령의 능력은 곧 부활의 능력이다. 이것은 주님께서 성령을 우리에게 보내셨을 때 부활 능력과 심지어 부활 자체를 이 영 안에 넣으셨다는 것을 의미한다. 그러므로 언제든지 사람이 성령을 만지면 그는 부활을 만지는 것이다. 사람이 일단 그 영 안에 있으면 부활의 주님을 만진다. 성령은 바로 주님의 부활을 증언하신다. 주님께서 이 땅에 계실 때 어떤 사람은 주님의 품에 기대었고 어떤 사람은 그분께 입 맞추었으며 어떤 사람은 그분을 밀었다. 또 어떤 사람은 그분의 손에서 무언가를 받았다. … 그러나 이러한 접촉은 오늘 우리가 주님을 접촉하는 것과 비교될 수 없다. 오늘 우리는 시간과 공간의 제한을 받지 않는다. 왜냐하면 오늘 부활하신 주님은 성령 안에 계시기 때문이다. The power of theHoly Spirit is the power of resurrection. This means that the Lord installed the power of resurrection and even resurrection itself into the Holy Spirit when He sent this Spirit to us. As soon as aman touches the Holy Spirit, he touches resurrection. Once a man is in the Spirit, he touches the Lord of resurrection. The Holy Spirit testifies to the resurrection of the Lord. While the Lord was on the earth, some leaned on His bosom. Others kissed Him, pressed upon Him, or received from His hands.…However, this kind of touch cannot compare with our touch today. Today we are not bound by time and space. The resurrected Lord is now in the Holy Spirit. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 59, pp. 84-85)

무엇을 가리켜 교회라고 하는가? 교회는 바로 주님께서 머리이시고 우리가 몸인 곳이다. 그렇다면 교회와 부활은 어떤 관계가 있는가? 교회는 성령과 어떤 관계가 있는가? … 교회는 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 능력을 발휘하신 것과 똑같이 그분의 강한 권능으로 운행하시는 것을 보여 주시는 곳이다(엡 1:19-20). 에베소서 1장 19절과 20절 말씀을 볼 때 우리는 하나님께서 그리스도 안에서 발휘하셨던 것과 똑같은 정도의 능력과 권능을 지금 교회 안에서 발휘하고 계심을 본다. … 이제 교회는 주님께서 체험하신 것과 똑같은 권능과 능력을 체험할 수 있다. 교회는 본성에서 뿐 아니라 능력에서도 부활하신 그리스도와 똑같다. 만일 그렇지 않다면 교회의 모든 것은 다 공허한 것이다. 하나님은 주님 안에서 모든 제한을 돌파하셨듯이 교회 안에서 모든 제한을 돌파하고 계신다. 그러므로 교회는 부활하신 주님과 똑같아야 한다. 교회는 주님과 똑같이 능력이 있고 자유로우며 어떤 제한에도 묶이지 말아야 한다. 그렇지 않으면 교회라 할 수 없다. 하나님의 강한 권능은 그리스도 안에서 발휘되었을 뿐 아니라 교회 안에서 계속 발휘되고 있다. 오늘날 교회는 그리스도의 부활 능력의 창고이자 저장소이다. 이것이 바로 교회이다. 교회는 그리스도의 몸이기 때문에 그 능력은 조금이라도 부족해서는 안 된다.

오늘날 교회는 승천하시고 영광스럽게 되신 그리스도에게서 이 능력을 공급받는다. 그러므로 교회가 해결할 수 없는 문제가 없고 교회가 이기지 못할 유혹이 없다. 왜냐하면 교회의 능력은 그리스도의 부활 능력, 곧 모든 것을 그리스도의 발아래 복종시킨 능력과 동일한 능력이기 때문이다. 이 능력은 다름 아니라 그리스도 안에서 발휘된 그 능력이다.

주님께서 부활하신 후에 교회는 그리스도의 몸이 되었다. 교회는 그분의 온 존재로 충만하다. 교회는 바로 부활하신 그리스도를 담는 그릇이다. 이것이 교회의 의미이다. 주 예수님은 모든 것을 통과하셨고 모든 것을 상속받으셨다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그분은 단지 머리이시다. 교회가 그분의 몸이다. 그분의 몸인 교회는 그분의 특징을 지닌다. 그리스도께서 어떠하시면 교회 역시 그러하다.

할렐루야! 우리는 지금 우리가 가지고 있는 것 그 이상을 필요로 하지 않는다! 우리에게 필요한 것은 다만 이미 우리가 소유하고 있는 것이 얼마나 영광스럽고 풍성하며 지극히 큰 것인지를 보는 것뿐이다. 하늘에 있는 권위는 영광스럽고 지극히 크지만 땅의 제한을 받는다. 오늘 두 사람이 이 땅에서 부활을 알고 부활의 위치에 서 있다면, 그들은 온 땅을 뒤흔들 것이다. 그러나 우리는 지금 겨우 부활의 옷 술을 만졌을 따름이다. 최근 몇 년 동안 주님은 부활에 관한 그분의 말씀을 해방하셨다. 하나님을 찬미하자! 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 것은 최상의 몫이다. 그 이상 더 나은 것이 있을 수 없다. 왜냐하면 우리가 주님과 똑같이 되었기 때문이다. What is the church? The church is where the Lord is the Head and we are the Body. What is the relationship between the church and resurrection, and what is the relationship between the church and the Holy Spirit?…The church is the place where God demonstrates the operation of the might of His strength, according to the power which He caused to operate in Christ [Eph. 1:19-20]. We have to pay attention to the words according to [in verse19].They mean that God is causing the same degree of might and strength that operated in Christ to now operate in the church.…The church can now experience the same might and strength that the Lord experienced. The church is the sameas the resurrected Lord not only in nature but also in power. If this were not so, everything about the church would be vanity. Just as God broke through all barriers in the Lord,He is breaking through allbarriers in the church.Therefore, the church should be the sameas the resurrected Lord. It should be as powerful, as free, and as unfettered by any limitation as the Lord is. Otherwise, it cannot be called the church.The might of God’s strength not only operated in Christ, but it continually operates in the church as well. Today the church is the depository and storehouse of the power of resurrection. This is the church. Anything less than this will not do.

Today the church has received this power supply from the ascended and glorified Christ. Therefore, there is no problem that the church cannot solve and no temptation that the church cannot overcome because the power of the church is the resurrection power of Christ, the same power that subjected all things under His feet. It isno less thanthe very power that operated in Christ.

The church became the Body of Christ after the Lord’s resurrection. The church is filled with all that He is; it is the very vessel which holds the resurrected Christ. This is the meaning of the church. The Lord Jesus has passed through everything and has inherited everything. Nevertheless, He is only the Head. The church is His Body; it bears His character is tics. The church is what Christ is in Himself.

Hallelujah, we do not need anything more than what we already have! All we need to see is the glory, the riches, and the vastness of what we already possess. The authority in heaven is glorious and great, but it is limited by the earth. As long as there are two persons on earth who know resurrection and who stand on resurrection ground today, they will shake the ends of the earth. Presently, we have only touched the hem of the garment of resurrection. The Lord has released His speaking on resurrection to us in these years. Praise Him! What He has given us is the topmost portion; there cannot be any further improvement because we have become the same as the Lord. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 59, pp. 86-87, 95)
