롬 12:4-5 한 몸에 많은 지체가 있지만, 모든 지체가 같은 기능을 가진 것이 아닙니다. 이와 같이 우리 많은 사람도 그리스도 안에서 한몸이며, 각 사람이 서로 지체들입니다.

엡 4:16 온몸은 그분에게서 나온 그 풍성한 공급을 해 주는 각 마디를 통하여, 그리고 각 지체가 분량에 따라 기능을 발휘하는 것을 통하여 함께 결합되고 함께 짜입니다. 그래서 몸이 자람으로써 사랑 안에서 스스로 건축되는 것입니다.

Rom. 12:4-5 For just as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we who are many are one Body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Eph. 4:16 Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.

우리는 하나님의 계획이자 행정인 하나님의 경륜이 그분의 아들을 위하여 한 몸을 창조하고 조성하고 산출하는 것임을 보아야 한다. 이것이 하나님의 경륜의 주된 목적이다. 그리스도는 그분의 일부이며 그분의 배필인 이 몸을 얻으셨다. 아담이 혼자 산 것은 그리스도께서 그분의 배필인 그분의 몸, 교회를 얻으시기 전에 혼자 계셨다는 것을 예표 한다. 하나님은 아담이 홀로 있는 것이 좋지 않다고 말씀하셨다. 그래서 하나님은 그를 깊은 잠이 들게 하시고 그의 옆구리를 여시어 갈비뼈 하나를 취하셨다. 창세기 2장은 하나님께서 그 갈비뼈로 한 여자를 건축하셨다고 말한다(22절). 이것은 하와가 아담에게서 나왔다는 것을 알려준다. 하와는 건축된 후에 아담에게 되돌아갔으며, 하나님은 이 둘을 한 육체가 되게 하셨다. 에베소서 5장은 이것이 그리스도와 교회라는 위대한 비밀의 예표라고 말한다(31-32절). 이 예표는 어린양의 아내인 새 예루살렘 안에서 완성될 것이다(계 21:2). 이것이 하나님의 경륜의 목표이다. We need to see that God’s economy as God’s plan, His administration, is to create, to constitute, and to produce a Body for His Son. This is the major purpose of God’s economy. Christ gained this Body, which is a part of Himself, His counterpart. Adam living alone typifies Christ being alone before He had gained His counterpart, His Body, the church. God said it was not good for Adam to be alone. So God made him fall into a deep sleep, opened his side, and took out a rib. Genesis 2 says that God built a woman with that rib (v. 22). This indicates that Eve came out of Adam. After being built up, Eve was brought back to Adam, and God made these two into one flesh. Ephesians 5 tells us that this is a type of the great mystery of Christ and the church (vv. 31-32). This type will be fulfilled in the New Jerusalem, which is the wife of the Lamb (Rev. 21:2). 삼일 하나님은 새 예루살렘 안에 체현되시고 결정화되시며, …이것이 그리스도의 몸, 그리스도의 배필, 그리스도의 아내, 삼일 하나님의 유기체의 완결이다.

새 예루살렘은 삼일 하나님으로 조성된다. 그러므로 우리는 새 예루살렘에서 삼일 하나님을 볼 수 있다. 새 예루살렘에서 아버지 하나님은 비추시는 분으로서 계시고(계22:5), 그리스도는 생명나무로서 계시며(2절), 그 영은 생명의 강으로서 계신다(1절). 아버지는 비추시는 분이시고, 그리스도는 자라시는 분이시며, 그 영은 흐르시는 분이시다. 이것은 삼일 하나님께서 새 예루살렘 전체를 흠뻑 적시기 위해 흐르신다는 것을 보여준다. 이렇게 흠뻑 적시는 것을 통하여 구속된 인성으로 이뤄지는 신성한 조성이 수행되고, 이렇게 이루어진 신성하고 인간적인 조성체가 그리스도의 몸이다. 이것이 긍정적인 면에서 하나님의 경륜의 목적이다.

하나님의 경륜은 부정적인 것과 관련된 또 다른 방면이 있는데, 이것은 하나님의 대적을 멸하는 것이다. 하나님께는 오직 하나의 대적이 있다. 하나님은 스스로 그 대적을 멸하실 수 있지만 그렇게 하지 않으신다. 하나님은 그분께서 구속하신 백성을 통하여 대적을 멸하기 원하신다. 그러므로 구속된 사람은 하나님과 동역하여 사탄을 멸해야 한다. 요한계시록은 한편으로 이기는 이들이 완결된 새 예루살렘이 될 것이며, 다른 한 편으로 모든 이기는 이들이 사탄을 멸하기 위하여 사용될 것임을 보여준다. 우리는교회가 무엇인지를 보아야 한다. 교회는 몸이고, 오직 한 몸만 있다. 교회가 몸이라는 것을 보려면 빛과 계시가 필요하다. 오늘날 이 땅에 기독교가 있지만 그것은 몸이 아니다. 주님을 사랑하는 사람들이 있지만 그것은 몸이 아니다. 잘 교화된 사람들이 있지만 그것은 몸이 아니다. 영성(靈性)을 추구하는 사람들이 있지만 그것은 몸이 아니다. 주님께서 오늘날 원하시는 것은 여러분의 영성이나 교화가 아니다. 그분은 몸을 원하신다. 오직 한 몸만 있다. …나는 여러분들에게 만약 몸의 실질적인 표현이 없다면 주 예수님께서 결코 다시 오시지 못할 것이라는 것을 확신시켜 주고 싶다. 주님은 “내가 속히 가겠다.” 라고 말씀하셨지만 아직 오시지 않았다. 왜 그런가? 왜냐하면 몸이 여기에 없기 때문이다. 왜냐하면 몸이 아직 이 땅에 나타나지 않았기 때문이다. 우리 안에서 삼일 하나님께서 하시는 일은 그리스도의 몸을 산출하시는 것이며, 이 몸의 실재는 그 영, 곧 공기 같은 영이신 그리스도이다. 이 영은 완결되신 삼일 하나님이자 부활로서 우리 안에서 일하신다. 우리에게 공기 같은 영이신 그리스도, 완결 되신 삼일 하나님, 부활이 있을 때, 우리는 실지적으로 그리스도의 몸인 것이다. (이상의 최고봉과 그리스도의 몸의 실제, 65쪽)

The Triune God is embodied and crystallized in the New Jerusalem, and this is the consummation of the Body of Christ,…the wife of Christ, the organism of the Triune God.

The New Jerusalem is constituted with the Triune God, so we can see the Triune God there. God the Father is there as the shining One (Rev. 22:5), Christ is there as the tree of life (v. 2), and the Spirit is there as the river of water of life (v. 1). God is the shining One, Christ is the growing One, and the Spirit is the flowing One. This is the Triune God flowing to saturate, to soak, the entire New Jerusalem. This soaking, this saturating, carries out the divine constitution with the redeemed humanity, and this divine human constitution is the Body of Christ. This is the purpose of God’s economy, positively speaking.

God’s economy does have another aspect on the negative side, and that aspect is the destruction of God’s enemy. God has a unique enemy which He could destroy by Himself, but…He desires to do it through His redeemed people. Therefore, the redeemed humanity should cooperate with God to destroy Satan. The book of Revelation shows that on the one hand, the overcomers will become the consummated New Jerusalem, and on the other hand, all the overcomers will be used to destroy Satan. We must see what the church is. The church is the Body, and there is only one Body. You need light and revelation to see that the church is the Body. On the earth today there is Christianity, but that is not the Body. There are those who love the Lord, but that is not the Body. There are those who are well-cultivated, but that is not the Body. There are those who pursue spirituality, but that is not the Body. What the Lord wants today is not your spirituality or your cultivation; He wants the Body. There is only one Body.… I can assure you that, unless there is a substantial expression of the Body, the Lord Jesus will never return. The Lord said, “I come quickly,” but He has not yet returned. Why? Because the Body is not here; because the Body has not yet been manifested on the earth. (One Body, One Spirit, and One New Man, pp. 14-15)

The work of the Triune God in us is to produce the Body of Christ, the reality of which is the Spirit, the pneumatic Christ. This Spirit as the consummated Triune God, the resurrection, works in us. When we have the pneumatic Christ, the consummated Triune God, the resurrection, we are practically the Body of Christ.
