16:6-7 성령께서 아시아에서 말씀 전하는 것을 막으셨으므로, 그들이 브루기아와 갈라디아 지역을 거쳐, 무시아에 이르러 비두니아로 가고자 하였지만, 예수님의 영께서 허락하지 않으셨다.

Acts 2:33 Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He [the Son] has poured out this which you both see and hear [the Spirit].

16:6-7 And they passed through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. And when they had come to Mysia,they tried to go into Bithynia, yet the Spiritof Jesus did not allow them.

나는 성경 연구를 통하여 신성한 삼일성이 성경 구성의 기본 구조라는 것을 발견했다. 성경을 하나의 건물로 간주할 때 그 건물 안의 구조가 바로 신성한 삼일성이다. 그러나 이 구조는 대부분 잘 드러나 보이지 않는다. 우리가 애너하임에 건축한 집회소를 본다면 돌과 나무밖에 보이지 않을 것이다. 그러나 그 건물 내부의 주된 기본 구조물은 강철이다. 돌과 나무로 덮여 있는 강철 기둥이 실지로 그 건물을 지탱하는 기둥이고, 이 기둥들이 기다란 강철 들보들을 지탱하고 있다. 이와 같은 방식으로 성경의 근본적인 구조는 바로 신성한 삼일성이다. Through my study, I have discovered that the Divine Trinity is the basic structure of the composition of the Bible. The Bible maybe considered as a building, and the Divine Trinity is the structure within the building. Most of this structure is not so manifest. If you look at the hall that we built in Anaheim, you will be able to see only stones and wood. But the main and basic structure of the inside of the building is steel. The columns of the building are actually steel pillars covered with stone and wood, and these pillars support long steel beams. In the same way, the underlying structure of the Bible is the Divine Trinity.

성경은 우리에게 그리스도께서 하늘로 승천하셨다고 말할 뿐 아니라(엡 4:8-9, 히 9:24) 하나님께서 그분을 들어 올리시고 높이셨다고 말한다(막 16:19, 눅 24:51, 빌 2:9). 하나님께서 그분을 높이신 후에 성령께서 제자들 위에 부어지셨다. 아들은 승천하셨고, 아버지는 그분을 높이셨으며, 그 영은 쏟아 부어지셨다. 삼일 하나님, 곧 아버지와 아들과 영께서 승천과 그 영의 쏟아 부어짐에 완전히 관련되셨다. 아들의 죽음에 삼일 하나님께서 관련되셨고, 아들의 부활에도 삼일 하나님께서 관련되셨으며, 아들의 승천과 높아짐에도 삼일 하나님께서 관련되셨다. 아버지와 아들과 영은 아들의 승천과 그 영의 쏟아 부어짐과 완전히 연관되신다. 사도행전16장 6절에 따르면, 빌립의 전도의 일에서처럼(행8:29, 39), 사도 바울과 그의 동역자들이 복음의 확산을 위해 움직인 것은 그들의 결정과 선호에 따른 것이거나, 사람의 회의를 통해 결정된 어떤 일정에 따라 수행된 것이 아니라, 하나님의 의결에 따라 성령에 의해 수행된 것이었다. 그들은 아시아에서 말씀을 전하려 했지만, 성령은 그들을 막으셨다. 막으시는 것도 성령께서 인도하신 것의 일부이다.

사도행전 16장 6절과 7절에 따르면, 성령께서 금지하시고 예수님의 영께서 허락하지 않으신 것은 바울과 그의 동역자들이 곧장 앞으로…서유럽을 향하여 나아가야 한다는 것을 의미했다. 그러나 바울은 거기로 갈 생각이 없었다. 이 때문에 주님께서 밤에 그에게 이상을 보여 주시는 것이 필요했던 것이다. 그 이상에서 한 마케도니아 사람이 부르는 소리가 바울에게 임했다(행16:9).

바울이 좌편 곧 아시아로 가는 것을 성령께서 금지하시고, 우편 곧 비두니아로 가는 것을 예수님의 영께서 허락하지 않으신 것은 사도와 그의 동역자들에게 앞으로 곧게 나아가라고 방향을 제시해 주신 것이었다. 이렇게 해서 그들은 무시아와 드로아를 통과하여 마케도니아로 곧장 나아갔다(행16:8).

우리는 6절과 7절에 있는 두 가지 신성한 칭호, 곧 성령과 예수님의 영을 주의 깊게 살펴보아야 한다. 사도행전 16장 6절과 7절에서 성령과 예수님의 영을 서로 바꾸어 쓸 수 있는데, 이것은 예수님의 영께서 성령이심을 계시한다. 성령은 신약에서 하나님의 영에 대한 일반적인 칭호이다. 예수님의 영은 하나님의 영에 관한 특별한 표현이다. 예수님의 영은 인성을 가지신 예수님으로서 인간 생활과 십자가에서의 죽음을 거치신, 육체가 되신 구주의 영을 말한다. 이것은 예수님의 영 안에 하나님의 신성한 요소뿐 아니라 예수님의 인간 요소와 인간 생활의 요소, 죽음의 고난의 요소도 있다는 것을 가리킨다. 사도들이 복음 전파 사역을 수행하기 위해서, 곧 인생을 살아가는 사람들을 위하여 그들 가운데서 고난의 사역을 수행하기 위해서는 그러한 모든 것을 포함하신 영이 필요했다. The Bible tells us that Christ ascended into heaven (Eph. 4:8-9; Heb. 9:24), but it also says that he was taken up and exalted by God(Mark16:19;Luke24:51;Phil.2:9).After God exalted Him, the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples. The Son ascended, the Father exalted Him, and the Spirit was poured out. The Triune God, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, was fully involved with the ascension and the pouring out of the Spirit. In the Son’s death the Triune God was involved, in the Son’s resurrection the Triune God was involved, and in the Son’s ascension and exaltation the Triune God is also involved. The Father, the Son, and the Spirit are wrapped up with the Son’s ascension and the pouring out of the Spirit. (God’s New Testament Economy, p. 94)

[According to Acts 16:6], the move of the apostle Paul and his co-workers for the spread of the gospel was not according to their decision and preference, nor according to any schedule made by human council, but by the Holy Spirit according to God’s counsel, as in the mission of Philip (8:29, 39). They intended to speak the word in Asia,but the Holy Spirit forbade them.Forbidding is also a part of the Holy Spirit’s leading. [According to verses 6 and 7], the Holy Spirit’s forbidding and the Spirit of Jesus’ not allowing indicated that Paul and his coworkers should go directly forward…toward Eastern Europe.… Paul, however, did not have the thought of going there. This made it necessary for the Lord to givehima vision during the night, and in this vision a Macedonian call came to Paul (v. 9).

The Holy Spirit’s forbidding Paul to go to the left, to Asia, and the Spirit of Jesus’ not allowing him to go to the right, Bithynia, indicates a straightforward direction for the apostle and his co-workers. Thus they went in a direct course to Macedonia through Mysia and Troas (v. 8).

We need to pay careful attention to two divine titles in verses 6 and 7: the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Jesus. The interchangeable use of the Spirit of Jesus with the Holy Spirit in the preceding

verse reveals that the Spirit of Jesus is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a general title of the Spirit of God in the New Testament. The Spirit of Jesus is a particular expression concerning the Spirit of God, and refers to the Spirit of the incarnated Savior who, as Jesus in His humanity, passed through human living and death on the cross.This indicates that in the Spirit of Jesus there is not only the divine element of God,but also the human element of Jesus and the elements of His human living and His suffering of death as well. Such an all-inclusive Spirit was needed for the

apostle’s preaching ministry,a ministry of suffering among human beings and for human beings in the human life. (Life-study of Acts, pp. 377-378)
