행 20:32 이제 나는 하나님과 그분의 은혜의 말씀에 여러분을 맡깁니다. 그 말씀은 여러분을 건축할 수 있고 거룩하게 된 모든 이들 가운데 있는 유업을 여러분에게 줄 수 있습니다.

34 여러분도 아시는 것처럼, 이 두 손으로 나와 내 일행에게 필요한 것을 공급하였습니다.

사도행전 20장 32절에서 바울은 믿는 이들을 하나님과 그분의 은혜의 말씀에 맡겼다. 은혜는 믿는 이들이 받아 들이고 누린 삼일 하나님이다. 나는 바울이 에베소에 머문 삼 년 동안 날마다 성도들에게 하나님의 은혜의 말씀을 말했다고 믿는다.

우리는 하나님의 은혜의 말씀이《라이프 스타디》메시지 안에 있다고 주님의 긍휼로 간증할 수 있다. …나는 젊은이들에게 수년의 시간을 들여서《라이프 스타디》의 모든 메시지들로 조성되라고 격려하고 싶다. 만일 젊은이들이…하나님의 신약 경륜에 관한 말씀으로 적셔진다면 많은 사람들이 주님을 전 시간으로 섬기는데 있어서 유용하게 될 것이다. 그들은 다른 도시나 다른 나라에 가서 하나님의 신약 경륜을 다른 사람들에게 전해 줄 수 있을 것이다. …이러한 방식으로…살아있는 많은 그릇들이 일으켜지고 하나님의 신약 경륜으로 조성될 것이다.

그뿐만 아니라 연장한 사람들도 여전히 이러한 메시지들로 조성될 시간을 갖고 있으며, 이럴 때 그들은 여생을 온 땅에서 하나님의 신약 경륜을 수행함으로써 주님을 섬기는 데 바칠 것이다.

[In Acts 20:32] Paul commits the believers to God and to the word of His grace.Grace is the Triune God received and enjoyed by the believers. I believe that during the three years Paul was in Ephesus, he daily spoke the word of God’s grace to the saints.

We can testify that, by the Lord’s mercy, the word of God’s grace can be found in the Life-study messages.…I would encourage the young people to take the time over the next several years to become constituted of all the Life-study messages. If the young people are…saturated with the word concerning God’s New Testament economy, many will be useful in serving the Lord full time. They will be able to go to other cities and countries and convey to others God’s New Testament economy.…In this way…many living vessels are raised up and constituted of God’s New Testament economy.

[Furthermore], those who are much older still have the time to be constituted of these messages and then have years to serve the Lord by carrying out God’s New Testament economy throughout

the earth. (Life-study of Acts, p. 477)

사도행전 20장 32절에서 우리는 하나님의 은혜의 말씀의 기능을 본다. 첫째로 이 말씀은 성도들을 건축할 수 있다. 성도들을 건축하기 위해서는 신성한 생명의 성장이 필요하며, 신성한 생명이 성장하기 위해서는 신성한 요소를 공급하고 신성한 지식으로 함양하고 장비시키는 것이 필요하다. 이 모든 것들은 오직 하나님의 넘치는 은혜의 말씀에 의해서만 가능하다. 이 은혜는 모든 과정, 즉 육체 되심, 인생, 십자가의 죽음, 부활, 승천을 거치시고 성도들의 누림을 위해 그들에게 주어지신 삼일 하나님 자신이다.

둘째로, 하나님의 은혜의 말씀은 우리에게 거룩하게 된 이들 가운데 있는 유업을 준다. 신성한 유업은 삼일하나님께서 소유 하신 모든 것과 이루신 모든 것과 구속된 백성을 위해 이루실 모든 것을 포함하신 삼일 하나님 자신이다. 이 삼일 하나님은 모든 것을 포함하신 그리스도 안에서 체현되시며(골2:9), 그리스도는 성도들에게 그들의 유업으로 할당된 몫이시다(골1:12). 성도들에게 주어지신 성령은 이 신성한 유업에 대한 미리 맛봄과 보증과 보장이시며(롬8:23, 엡1:14), 이 유업은 우리가 오늘날 하나님의 신약의 희년 안에서 미리 맛봄으로서 함께 나누며 누리고 있으며, 오는 시대와 영원 안에서는 완전히 함께 나누며 누리게 될 것이다(벧전1:4).

오늘날 이 땅의 상황은 강한 증거를 필요로 하며 강한 증거를 위해서는 많은 수고가 필요하다. 그러므로 많은 사람들이 전 시간으로 주님을 섬겨야 하는 커다란 필요가 있다. 그러나 주님을 위해 수고하기 위하여 우리는 말씀으로 완전히 조성될 필요가 있다.

나는 주님의 회복이 일반적인 기독교의 일이 아니라는 것을 다시 한 번 지적하고 싶다. 반대로 회복은 과거에 충분하게 수행되지 않았던 하나님의 신약 경륜을 수행하기 위한 주님의 최신의 움직임이다. 하나님의 신약 경륜에 관한 그분의 말씀을 들은 우리는 주님께 이렇게 말해야 한다. “ 주여, 이 땅에서 당신의 움직임을 위해 우리가 여기 있습니다. 우리는 단지 성경을 가르치기 위해 지식을 얻기를 원하지 않습니다. 우리는 신약의 모든 가르침으로 조성되고자 하는 부담을 받아서 바울과 같이 당신의 경륜을 수행하는 그릇이 되기 원합니다. 우리는 심지어 전 시간으로 수고하기 원합니다.” 만일 우리 자신과 다른 사람들을 부양하기위해 일하는 것이 필요한 상황이라면 우리는 그렇게 해야 한다. 그렇지 않으면 우리는 우리의 모든 시간을 기꺼이 주님의 사역에 드려야 한다.

우리는 모든 나라에서 사람들이 진리를 찾고 있다는 것을 깨달을 필요가 있다. … 그들은 인생의 진정한 의미를 알기 원한다. 그러므로 우리 모두는 하나님의 신약 경륜에 관한 진리를 확산하는 부담을 받을 필요가 있다. …우리 모두 하나님의 경륜으로 적셔지고 또한 다른 사람들도 하나님의 경륜으로 적셔지도록 돕자. (사도행전 라이프 스타디, 메시지55, 470, 472-474쪽)

In Acts 20:32 we see the function of the word of God’s grace. First, this word is able to build up the saints.To build up the saints requires the growth in the divine life, and the growth in the divine

life needs the nourishment of the divine element and the edification and equipment with the divine knowledge. All these can be afforded only by the word of God’s abundant grace, which is the Triune God Himself who went through all the processes of incarnation, humanliving, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascensionand who has been given to the saints for their enjoyment.

Second, the word of God’s grace functions to give us “the inheritance among all those who have been sanctified.” The divine inheritance is the Triune God Himself with all that He has, all He has done, and all He will do for His redeemed people. This Triune God is embodied in the all-inclusive Christ (Col. 2:9), who is the portion allotted to the saints as their inheritance (Col. 1:12).

The Holy Spirit, who has been given to thesaints, is the foretaste, the pledge, and the guarantee of this divine inheritance (Rom. 8:23;Eph.1:14), which we are sharing and enjoying today in God’s New Testament jubilee as the foretaste and will share and enjoy in full in the coming age and for eternity (1 Pet. 1:4).

The situation on earth today needs a strong testimony, and a strong testimony requires much labor. Thus, there is the great need for many to serve the Lord with their full time. But in order to labor for the Lord, you need to be fully constituted of the Word.

The Lord’s recovery is not an ordinary Christian work. On the contrary, the recovery is the Lord’s up-to-date move for the carrying out of His New Testament economy, which has not been fully carried out in the past. As those who have heard His word concerning His New Testament economy, we should say to Him, “Lord, we are here for Your move on earth. We do not want to merely gain the knowledge of Bible teachings. We are willing to take up the burden to be constituted of all the New Testament teachings so that, like Paul, we may be vessels to carry out Your economy. We are even willing to labor full time.” If the situation requires that we work at a job to support ourselves and others, we should do so. Otherwise, we should be willing to devote all our time to the Lord’s ministry.

We need to realize that in every nation people are seeking the truth.…They want to know the real meaning of human life. Therefore, we all need to take up the burden to spread the truth concerning God’s New Testament economy.…Let us all become saturated with God’s economy and then help others to be saturated with it.
